Sure It’s going to snow Tuesday, and be cold in the middle of the week, but after that: here comes global warming! My car’s just not the same without them...

It’s been 60s/70s here for weeks, and for the next two weeks also. Which is nice, since the furnace isn't working, but yeah. The snow/summer tire dilemma. 3 more months until the snow is guaranteed to be over.

I just split the difference and put on all-seasons. If it snows, you have slightly compromised traction. If it doesn’t, the car doesn’t lose all feel and enjoyment of driving.

I regret putting my blizzaks on this winter, the fronts are ruined and I probably won’t be able to use them next year.

I have the same question.

Substantial snowfall was late and quick to fade this season. Seems like just the occasonal risk of flurries and above freezing daytime temps from here on out.

The weather has been so mild this year that my blizzaks are still sitting in a pile waiting. It was touch-and-go for a bit there, but we only had freezing temps for about a week when I wasn’t driving the FoST.

I don’t know when I’ll ever use them. It just doesn’t consistently get that cold here to warrant them.

At the end of that period I’m going to be sitting wondering whether to put my old tires on for a couple months and burning the crap out of them, or just going straight out and getting new tires. I have a trip planned and I hate my stock tires too much to take them.

I’m going to swap mine on after next weekend. Should be safe enough. Even if we get a little more snow I will survive.

Did you learn nothing last year? The weather will quickly turn and dump snow leaving you screwed, because Chicago.
